Angus & Lucky

Here are some shots from a shoot I did this past weekend. Angus is the black smaller dog and Lucky is the black rotti mix with the really cool “flying nun” ears and I have one of a dog named Lady who jumped in at the last minute. We had a great time down on the beach…it was pretty mild for Nov. so it wasn’t too cold. I am trying to recover from a weekend of eating anything and everything…I hope everyone had a great time with friends and family. I sooooo enjoyed not cooking!

Jackson

Here is a new painting I just did for a client. He is a Westie named Jackson and I love his cool swirly sofa.  I get the feeling he is the king of his castle. I love Westie’s because they are usually such happy little dogs and they are really solid and athletic. My outlaws have one and she is the sweetest….
I guess everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving right about now. I am happy to NOT be travelling this year and I don’t have to cook for once in a long time. That alone will make this a much more enjoyable holiday for me…I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I cook Thanksgiving, I am so sick of the food by the time the meal rolls around that I don’t even enjoy it. I wish the pilgrims ate baked ziti at the first Thanksgiving…life would be soooo much easier. I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs…

Hey everyone….I am trying out some new blog frames for my photos and I thought I would include a few shots from a photoshoot the other day. These cool pups are Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and they have great Hawaiian names that I cannot spell so I won’t bother. They were great models and had the sweetest personalities. They are really gentle for their extra large size.

I am happy to see that the Ebay Auction is going so well…thanks to everyone who has bid! The auction ends tommorrow so head on over if you are interested. Not only will you get an ultracool handmade dog book but you will be helping out animals in need at the same time. If the bidding has gotten to rich for your blood, you can always go to www.aplacetobark.com and make a charitable donation if you feel inspired. Thanks everyone!
